This unique architectural design consists of a fermentation and office building that are nestled into a hillside and connected through an intricate cave system. All of our disciplines were challenged; from the civil grading intricacies of a building dug into a hill, to the structural roof design to bear the weight of said hill, the relocation of existing electrical infrastructure, and the design for treated wastewater reuse at the facility. Ultimately, our team creatively brought this elaborate design to life.
