57% of our Management Team are women
40% of our Project Managers are women
Not bad, considering women make up about 16.7% of the engineering workforce in the US according to SWE in 2023.
However, despite our current numbers, we continually look for ways to diversify and encourage our incredibly talented staff, beyond just the month of March.
So here’s to the Summit ladies: to your accomplishments, future successes, and all that lies between! We are so thankful to have each and every one of you on our team.
This year we celebrated Engineers Week with a water treatment experiment. 5 teams were tasked with cleaning water samples with various methods; judging was based on pH, turbidity, volume of treated water, and even taste! (No wastewater engineers were harmed in the judging of this event. 😉)
